Elvis Presley and Priscilla Ann Beaulieu became Husband and Wife on May 1st 1967 at a wedding ceremony conducted at The Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The civil ceremony was performed by Nevada Supreme Court Justice David Zenoff.
The wedding was arranged by Elvis' manager, Col Tom Parker. The wedding ceremony took place in the suite of Casino owner Milton Prell, and the ceremony did not include many people. Instead only very close family members were invited by Col Tom Parker. Elvis' Co-Best Men were Marty Lacker, and Joe Esposito. Priscilla's Maid of Honor was her sister, Michelle.
According to a Las Vegas SUN news report, "Elvis wore a black brocade silk tuxedo and Western boots, while Priscilla wore a floor-length wedding gown of her own design: white silk chiffon, with beaded yoke, trimmed in seed pearls and topped with a three-foot tulle veil secured by a rhinestone crown."
The wedding ceremony was reported to have only lasted eight minutes, and it was then followed by a Press Conference and wedding reception with a breakfast buffet. The Presley's wedding cake was six-tiers. The wedding reception was attended by around 100 people including: extended family members, RCA and Sony business associates, and Elvis' entourage.
Elvis and Priscilla spent their honeymoon in Palm Springs, California at their home located at 1350 Ladera Circle.
On May 29th 1967, the Presley's had a second wedding reception which was held at Graceland for family, and friends who could not make it to Las Vegas.
