*GLADYS PRESLEY*
40-Years-Old. Caucasian. Gladys is a compassionate mother and hardworking caretaker. She and her son, at this point unknown to the world, share a very close bond.

*MISS MILDRED SCRIVENER*
56-YEARS-OLD. Caucasian. Miss Scrivener, Elvis' homeroom teacher, is a stern but respected authority figure at Humes High School. She is well-known for her strict policy on tardy students.

Rock 'n' roll guitarist and vocalist Brad Birkedahl moved to Memphis in the mid- 90's and performs nightly for thousands of blues and rock enthusiasts. When he isn't playing on historic Beale Street, he is traveling around the world sharing the stage with musical legends such as Carl Perkins, Wanda Jackson, James Burton, the TCB Band and DJ Fontana. He's performed for presidents and prime ministers and also played the role of Scotty Moore in the highly acclaimed film "Walk the Line."

If you purchased an $89 VIP ticket to attend the 40th Anniversary Aloha from Hawaii Advanced Screening at the Orpheum Theatre on August 16, you are you are invited to attend an Aloha from Hawaii VIP Reception from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM at the Elvis Week Main Stage at Graceland prior to the event on August 16.  

In order to get access to the event, you must show your $89 VIP ticket for the 40th Anniversary Aloha from Hawaii Advanced Screening at the main entrance of the Elvis Week Main Stage. At that time, you will be issued one wristband per VIP ticket purchased that will allow you into the reception. You must have your tickets with you so we can see your seat numbers in order to gain access to the event.

At the reception, you will enjoy complimentary light appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages, all while enjoying Elvis music and Elvis in Hawaii photos on the screen. A cash bar will also be available. In addition, we will be providing you motor coach transportation to the Orpheum for the event and back to Graceland following the event. You must have your wristband in order to be able to board the motor coach.

6:20 PM  - 6:40 PM                    
Boarding of motor coach transportation to the Orpheum outside the Elvis Week Main Stage. Each bus will depart once it is full.

6:40 PM
Last motor coach will depart for the Orpheum from the Elvis Week Main Stage. If you plan to use the transportation, you must be boarded by this time.

6:45 PM – 7:00 PM               
Drop off at the Orpheum Theater
7:30 PM – 9:20 PM
40th Anniversary Aloha from Hawaii Advanced Screening

9:30 PM – 9:45 PM
Board motor coach transportation back to Graceland outside the Orpheum Theatre. Each bus will depart once it is full.

9:50 PM
Last motor coach will depart the Orpheum for Graceland. If you plan to use the transportation, you must be boarded by this time


If you have purchased an $89 VIP ticket but are not planning to use the motor coach transportation to get to the Orpheum, please send an email to marketing@elvis.com to let us know.

In addition, if you are in a wheelchair and will be using the transportation, please let us know as well so we can make appropriate arrangements for you.

All weekend, August 16 through 18, in honor of Elvis Week Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall will celebrate the life and legacy of 'The King of Rock n' Roll' Elvis Presley with live entertainment, food specials, contests, movies, music and gaming promotions.

Throughout the weekend, Elvis' most popular songs including "Hound Dog," "Love Me Tender" and "Jailhouse Rock" will play throughout the casino, while several of his hit movies are aired in Roxy's, during scheduled times.

Guests dressed as Elvis dine for free at Firelight Buffet. The Sports Deli will feature a peanut butter and banana sandwich; and Billy Bob's Steak House & Saloon and Willy and Jose's Cantina will offer a "King Creole" dinner special - blackened orange roughy and shrimp creole with tobacco onions.

B Connected members have a variety of promotions available during the special weekend, including, 20X points on all Elvis themed slot machines, daily slot and video poker tournaments, three randomly selected $100 hot seats every 20 minutes from 1-4 p.m. daily, one randomly selected $1,000 hot seat at 5 p.m. daily, and players earning 200 points can receive a TY Elvis Beanie Bear, and $20 in free slot play per day (with valid identification) for guests named Elvis. Renowned Elvis tribute artist Brandon Bennett performs at Sam's Town Live! The highly anticipated Elvis Week event "Conversations on Elvis," featuring Mother Dolores Hart,T.G. Sheppard and Norbert Putnam, has only a few tickets remaining. Individual tickets are available online or by calling Graceland Reservations at 800-238-2000 or 901-332-3322.

Hosted by Tom Brown, Vice President of Original Productions for Turner Classic Movies, this event gives fans a chance to hear from friends and those who worked closely with the king. Mother Dolores Hart, who left Hollywood to enter a contemplative monastery, starred alongside Elvis in "Loving You" and "King Creole." T.G. Sheppard formed a close personal and professional relationship with Elvis while promoting records for RCA. Elvis would later, as a token of their friendship, give T.G. his first tour bus. Other guests include representatives from Sony who will be talking about the new “Elvis at Stax” release and Elvis' bassist Norbert Putnam, who was part of the studio band for Elvis’ December 1973 recording session at Stax.

Together, the ELVIS HAPPY FAN CLUB of New Jersey and the TCELVIS 2001 FAN CLUB of New York will offer fans attending Elvis Week 2013 the ability to support St. Jude and The Med. 

During the Elvis Week celebration they will be selling a limited amount of "Give Like Elvis Did" buttons with proceeds going directly to both St. Jude and The Med. 

The price of this 3-inch button will be $3.00.

The 21st Annual Collecting the King® Memorabilia Show returns for August, 2013! This year it will be held in the Bert Parker Room on August 12-13-14-15 (Monday through Thursday) during Elvis Week 2013 at the luxurious Peabody Hotel. 

Dealers at our show this year will include many good friends and well established names in the Elvis collecting world including, Ray Jackson (R&J Collectibles), Rocky Kruegel (Stardust Records) who always has the most incredible assortment of 45’s each year, and of course, yours truly, Soundz Good Records with our large assortment of rare and collectible Elvis Records and memorabilia. In addition, representatives from Heritage Auctions will be set up at the show looking for new Elvis items for future auctions, so be sure to bring in your rarest Elvis memorabilia and talk to them.
