If you are planning on attending this years' Presidents' Event, your form must be returned by the deadline above to receive your free ticket. Elvis Fan Club Honor Guard Information - Elvis Week 2013

Each year during the Candlelight Vigil, fan club presidents and their members stand at the beginning of the driveway as the honor guard. Twenty people at a time stand on the driveway and are changed out every 20 minutes throughout the entire evening. If you or anyone in you club is planning on participating in Honor Guard, please click here for important information and your pre-registration form. Pre-registration forms are due by August 1, 2013.

Elvis Week 

Tour the stables at Graceland!

Artifacts on display as part of the Elvis Presley stable tour include saddles used by Elvis and his entourage, personal western wear worn by Elvis, checks and documents related to the purchase of some of Elvis’ horses, and home movie footage of Elvis on horseback at Graceland.

Of the four horses currently living at Graceland, Max, Tucker and Bandit were adopted after being rescued. The fourth, Candy, was a gift.

(Thursday, August 15 - Saturday, August 17)

Tour times are at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.

Elvis Soprano Millie Kirkham Joins Elvis Week Lineup

Long-time Elvis soprano Millie Kirkham will join DJ Fontana on Saturday, August 17, for the Elvis Celebration Concert during Elvis Week 2013. Kirkham's strong, clear soprano voice can be heard on many of Elvis' pop, rock, gospel and country recordings. Fans can purchase tickets to this event by clicking here.

Millie first recorded with Elvis in 1957, which yielded, among other classics, "Blue Christmas," which features some of the most unique vocal background work she and the Jordanaires ever did with the superstar. Throughout the next twenty years Kirkham's strong, clear soprano could be heard on hits such as "The Wonder of You," "Surrender," "How Great Thou Art," "Polk Salad Annie," "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "Don't, Just Pretend," "Devil in Disguise" and many others. She also sang with Elvis on movie soundtracks and appeared with him on stage in Las Vegas. 

Kirkham has long been a fixture in the music community in Nashville. Her credits include numerous radio and television appearances, collaborations with the Jordanaires and the Anita Kerr Singers, and recording sessions in Nashville, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Among the many artists she has recorded with are Roy Orbison, Dolly Parton, Jerry Lee Lewis, Burl Ives, Johnny Cash, Brenda Lee, Willie Nelson, Pete Fountain, Bob Dylan, Perry Como, Carl Perkins, Rosemary Clooney, Little Richard, Reba McIntire, Brook Benton, Tammy Wynette, Vic Damone, Paul Anka, George Jones, Patti Paige, Les Paul & Mary Ford, Eddy Arnold, Loretta Lynn and, of course, Elvis Presley.

Lunch will begin at 11:00am. 

Entertainment at the brand new theater on the same site as Elvis' Birthplace will start at 
12:00 and go until 4:30pm.
