A new calendar called the Memphis Calendar is joining the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Birth of Rock 'N Roll music in Memphis.
The Memphis Calendar will include a backstage photo of Elvis Presley. This photo will be at the top of the January page of our calendar. We selected it because it was taken right after he 'stole the show' at the Levitt Shell 60 years ago. The Night Rock 'N Roll was born! It is only fitting that it would begin this celebration year.
A candlelight photo of the Birthday celebration this year will be at the top of our August page to pay tribute to the Candlelight Vigil this year. If you like Memphis music you will enjoy the other months too with the Guitar Drop at the Hard Rock Cafe on Beale Street on New Years Eve on the Cover, BarKays, Rufus Thomas, Jerry Lee Lewis, STAX, Rock 'N Roll Museum, Levitt Shell and other photos as Headliners.
