Elvis Presley's Father, Vernon Elvis Presley passed away on this date; June 26th, 1979. 34 years ago today in Memphis at the Baptist Memorial Hospital. At the time of his passing from heart failure, he was 63 years old. Vernon is buried between Elvis and Gladys at Graceland in the Meditation Garden.
