Pre-Order Four New Follow That Dream Releases at ShopElvis

Elvis fans can now pre-order several new releases from the Follow That Dream (FTD) classic series on ShopElvis.com. Follow That Dream Records is a collectors record label that exists exclusively for the dedicated Elvis music collector. The Elvis.com Follow That Dream Database currently offers rare photos, exclusive audio samples and great deals on over 100 different Elvis CDs, books and LPs. The following FTD titles are available to pre-order and will ship sometime around the week of May 20, 2013.
The new Flaming Star book and CD combo looks at the summer months of 1961. With the main focus on the making of the movie "Follow That Dream," filmed on location in Florida in the months of July and August 1961, this book presents original newspaper articles, new exclusive interviews from the cast, the crew, and local residents, plus details about scenes deleted from the final print. Fans can also see over 200 unpublished photos taken from the original negatives and enjoy a CD of Elvis' masters.
"From Elvis in Memphis" is the latest in the classic album series which dives into the 1969 sessions at American Sound Studio. Fans can enjoy the recorded sessions from January and February of 1969. This 2-disc collector's edition features the original album, outtakes, rehearsals, unfinished masters. "From Elvis in Memphis" is the product of the same 1969 American Sound Studio sessions under producer Chips Moman that yielded the recent "Back in Memphis" FTD.
For the first time since "Wild in the Country," neither an LP album nor an extended play single was planned for "Stay Away, Joe." Although released before "Speedway," this film and its soundtrack were made after, the first of Elvis' last five films in the 1960s where musical numbers were kept to a minimum. The recording session took place at RCA Studio B in in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 1, 1967. This compilation is produced and art directed by Ernst Mikael Jørgensen and Roger Semon and mixed and mastered by Vic Anesini & Sebastian Jeansson.
FTD vinyl is pleased to announce the release of “On Stage," a special limited edition 2-disc 180-gram vinyl set. In addition to the original album, the set includes all of RCA's recordings from three of the shows during February of 1970.
