Elvis Presley made television history with his "Elvis, Aloha from Hawaii" concert television special. The performance took place at the Honolulu International Center on January 14, 1973 and was beamed live via Satellite around the world to a viewing audience was estimated at over one billion. In celebration of the 40th anniversary of this event, fans gathered in Honolulu in January 2013 for 5 days of celebrations. The highlight was a screening of a re-edited version of "Elvis, Aloha from Hawaii," which includes rarely-seen footage and audio. This special 40th anniversary edition DVD offers a new look at Elvis during one of his most outstanding concert performances of his career.
