According to real estate officials, the 1946 Palm Springs estate was purchased by the King of Rock and Roll in 1970 for $105,000. He owned the property for seven years and recorded nine songs at the home, including Sweet Angeline, Are you Sincere, Blue Spanish Eyes and I Miss You.
The Presley family spent three months out of the year there, real estate officials said. The estate is one of the few Spanish Colonial Ranch properties designed by the famous architect Albert Frey, who became best known for 'desert modernism'.
