Elvis Presley's Daughter, singer and songwriter Lisa Marie Presley is among the recording artists from Republic Records who are graciously helping those who were effected by the tragic happenings which took place December 14, 2012 at Sandy Hook Elementary School located in Newtown, CT.
A auction will be conducted online March 25th-28th through the organization "Music For Newtown" and the organization unites the music community in support of the victims' families, the first responders, and the community of Newtown, CT.
Lisa Marie Presley, has donated two autographed items for the Music For Newtown auction. The two autographed items are a Meinl tambourine autographed using a black sharpie and a Lithograph of Presley's most recent album cover "Storm & Grace" autographed using a silver sharpie.
This auction is sponsored by Republic Records and 100% of the proceeds raised will go to Newtown benefiting the "Sandy Hook School Support Fund" set up through Newtown Savings Bank/ United Way of Western Connecticut. United Way of Western Connecticut has waived their fees so all the money will go directly to Newtown. Funds will provide support services to the families and community that have been affected.
