Life-long Elvis Fan Turns Cocktails into Elvis-Inspired Rocktails
One Elvis fan is turning her love for the king into a creative outlet at Joe Mama's Italian Deluxe in Oakland, Pennsylvania. In a new video posted on WQED.org, bartender Sam Hietsch offers patrons a number of drinks created in honor of the King of Rock 'n' Roll.
From an early age, Hietsch became an Elvis fan and began taking the annual pilgrimage to Elvis Week. Rocking the Elvis Presley signature tattoo on her wrist, this Elvis aficionado has created Elvis-inspired "rocktails" on Sunday nights using her very own "All Shook Up" drink mixer. Among the many cocktails available are "Suspicious Limes," "Jailhouse on the Rocks" and "If I Can Drink."
