Sonny West a very Happy Birthday!!
Sonny West spent many years on the road with Elvis Presley, and Elvis was "Best Man" at Sonny's December 28th 1970 wedding. When Elvis made movies in California Sonny joined him, and he regularly hung out with Elvis at Graceland. Through out the 1970's Sonny was always a part of Elvis' security team on concert tours. He also joined Elvis and fellow Memphis Mafia member, Jerry Schilling on December 21st 1970 at the White House; when Elvis met President Richard Nixon to received his Federal Narcotics Badge. Red West, Sonny's Cousin also spent years on the road with Elvis.
