3/28/2013

Grand Opening of Jerry Lee Lewis' Cafe & Honky-Tonk

Jerry Lee Lewis’ Café and Honky-Tonk will open on April 20th 2013 at 310 Beale in Memphis, TN, the biggest building on Beale Street. The restaurant will offer cuisine from Louisiana to low country, from Mississippi to Memphis. The decor will span the length of Lewis’ career, from the 1950s to the present. The entertainment will feature live music in the rockabilly style, highlighting the music of Jerry Lee Lewis and others indigenous to the Memphis music scene.

A parade to herald Lewis’ move to Beale Street will be held on April 20th, and fan participation is desired. Representatives from all fan clubs are welcome! Fan club members are invited to join as Mayor AC Wharton accompanies Jerry Lee Lewis on the ride down Beale. Other dignitaries will be present, both civic leaders and those from the music business.
