Authentic Brands Group and Card.com have created a partnership to allow Elvis fans to use his image to buy Elvis merchandise, or any merchandise, for that matter.
A new line of Elvis Presley Visa debit cards is launching in the U.S. Fans will have four different images to choose from and the cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.
“Consumers make purchasing choices every day, from what to buy, to their method of payment, and Card.com provides an opportunity to personalize the experience with a wide variety of prepaid debit card designs,” Nick Woodhouse, president chief marketing officer at ABG, said in a statement.
ABG acquired the intellectual propertyrights for Elvis’ image last fall. The company is preparing to launch new products and endorsement deals centered around his image and music.
