From his iconic hairstyles to his impeccable taste in clothing, Elvis always finds himself at the center of the fashion industry and his unique style seems to reappear each year on the runways. With jumpsuits filling the summer fashion lines, Styleite.com features Elvis' American Eagle jumpsuit as one of their "20 Sexiest Jumpsuit Moments in Fashion History."
Ranked at #2, the article jokes, "We could use double the chains on the shoulders, but it’s the king so we’ll let it slide."
Two versions of the American Eagle jumpsuit were created for the king's now legendary "Aloha From Hawaii - Via Satellite" concert. He went on to wear the suit from his rehearsal show in Las Vegas performances in 1973 and 1974. Three belts were created for this jumpsuit with two being exact replicas and the third bearing minor differences. The third belt is pictured on Styleit.com.
Other artists featured in this article include Janet Leigh, Diana Ross, Cher, among many other fashion innovators.
