Sony Music is releasing a 3 CD set on August 16th 2013 in honor of the 40th anniversary of Elvis' recording sessions at Stax Records in Memphis. The CD's will be released on the very affordable Sony Legacy label, and it will be in the stores August 6th.
The 3 CD set will feature most all songs, and outtakes, from the 3 albums Elvis recorded at Stax Records which originally took place in July, and December of the year 1973. The albums were: "Raised On Rock", "Good Times", and "Promised Land" which produced four top 20 hits.
The 3 CD set is expected to be amazing quality, and the set will hopefully make all loyal, and dedicated Elvis fans very happy.
Another simple CD with Elvis' recordings at Stax Records with just the master recordings will also be released. This CD will be marketed for the casual Elvis Presley fan.
