
Ed Sullivan Show - the theatrical celebration
The Ed Sullivan Caravan of Stars is coming to Roselawn Theatre on Friday, July 26. It’s a theatrical celebration of the CBS television series that featured Ed Sullivan throughout the 1950s and ’60s, and rising musical stars such as Elvis Presley and The Beatles.
Jeff Brown, a radio personality from 91.7 Giant FM, will play the role of Ed Sullivan, introducing a variety of musical performers that includes: guitarist Mike Daley playing Buddy Holly hits such as Peggy Sue and That’ll Be the Day; Bill Culp from the Memphis Cats band who will perform songs by The Big Bopper; Bruce Tournay from the Memphis Cats band performing songs by Ritchie Valens; and Jim Yorfido performing songs by Johnny Cash. The “really big show” starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $28 each, available by calling 905-834-0833 or from the theatre box office at 296 Fielden Ave in Port Colborne, Ontario.
