Bonus Video of Scotty Moore Now Available to Basic and Plus Insiders
MAY 09, 2014
Basic and PLUS Insiders can now view an interview with Scotty Moore in 1993, where he talks about the day rock 'n' roll music was born. In celebration of 60 Years of Rock 'n' Roll, we have launched our 60-day countdown. In honor of the music Elvis' loved, we will feature artists who have been inspired by Elvis or have helped shape music and pop culture. We kicked off our countdown with The Blue Moon Boys - Bill Black and Scotty Moore. The 60-day countdown will end with a world-wide celebration on July 5 - the day Elvis recorded "That's All Right" at Sun Studio in Memphis. Moore shares details and describes this monumental moment in music history as a "jam session." He said once they played it back, everyone was puzzled as to what they should call the new sound. Basic and PLUS Insiders can access this video, along with other exclusive interviews, by visiting the MEDIA section in the Insiders Forum.
